It could be made clearer, I think, that these are not simply orthodox‐pawns‐but‐royal; I had a go against the diagram and the first few times got trounced because I'd misunderstood the pawns' move: as it stands, nothing on the page draws attention to the fact that they are non‐standard. (The fact that they aren't linked to a Piececlopedia article doesn't really help — after all, one could surmise that the difference is simply in their royalty, if that is noticed at all)

Having eventually understood the move it's an enjoyable little game, though.
