Well the editors here de facto define the standards of this site. If your submission doesn't meet the personal standards of any editor that occupies himself with publishing submissions, you will not get published. No matter what any hypothetical official CVP standard would be, or whether these existed at all.

Point is that Ben is not an exceptionally harsh editor. And there aren't many active editors who publish submissions in the first place. So already two people have declared they consider the originality of some of your submissions below par, and Aurelian also mentioned it would be better to present this as a collection. So the chances that this would be a consensus opinion that other editors would share, seems pretty large. I would think waiting for months and months, in the hope that some other editor (who?) comes along who thinks otherwise seems a bit foolhardy to me. Especially since by now it should be pretty obvious that none of the frequently present members can be convinced by your complaints.

As to 10x8 Chess: in my opinion most of these should be presented as a collection too. In Jocly I in fact did that: I merged all these variants into one, adding a prelude where people can select what initial setup they want to play with. If someone would submit yet another 10x8 variant with BN and RN, I would voice exactly the same objections. These articles were published because of historic reasons; as time progresses and the number of variants increases, standards are raised too. What would fly then does not automatically fly now.
