Capablanca Random Chess was supposed to be a mix of Capablanca Chess and FisherRandomChess. However
neither of these variants required all pawns to be protected. Also FRC did not require that Bishops
not be adjacent. If this adjacency rule is not used then logically the rule that Queen and Archbishop
not be adjacent would not be applicable. If a CRC game changes the rules from the original
inventors rules does the name need to be changed out of respect for the inventor and for consistency?
There is a game called Modern Capablanca Random Chess where the black pieces are placed in an
inverted order compared to the white pieces.
