I turned off JavaScript to see what this would look like without it. Instead of the diagram, I got a list of parameters. Ideally, I would like something like this that still uses a graphic image when JavaScript is disabled. What I'm thinking of is a script similar to this that instead of displaying or moving pieces just imposes images or colored boxes over spaces on a board that is already displayed as a graphic image. That way, a diagram would still show up when JavaScript is off, and it would gain extra functionality when JavaScript is on. Parameters should be provided in a way that is invisible when JavaScript is off. Maybe they could just be passed as part of the JavaScript instead of as part of the HTML.
