The nahbi is a rather unusual piece that, in one form or another, has been around for well over a decade. In its current incarnation, it slides 2 squares diagonally, then one square orthogonally, a lame Alfil + Wazir. It makes an excellent knight analog. It hits all the knight squares, plus the same pairs of squares 1 step farther out, which takes it into falcon territory. And it's certainly a cousin of the sissa. It looks like it would be an excellent problemist's piece. All-in-all, this is an excellent member of the 3-step pieces.
