Hey Joe, part of my motivation for micro-Chieftain was to have a version of Chieftain Chess that would be playable on a normal chess board. I was curious if we could go back to Man pieces, or a least have all the 'Pawn' type pieces be the same? And, if we are going to do that then maybe look into having a normal chess set up, with the chess pieces acting differently.

We use bishops for the elephants, pawns for the Man pieces (Maybe go with all pawns being Silver Generals), and the Knight and Rook being what they are. We could then also decide to move all the pawn pieces where the starting spot are, so when starting, it would look like normal chess, but play differently.

Can you get this as a possible alternate set up for micro-Chieftain?

Also, if we have a 8x10 board, maybe the last rows could contain nukes so we could play Geo-Thermal Nuclear micro-Chieftains :-P

If anyone has a question about Geo-Thermal Nuclear, please bombard Joe with emails on it. I am sure he has an answer :-P
