Other interesting and appropriate pieces to add would be compounds of FIDE with cannon-type pieces such as the Grand Rook of Cataclysm / Super Loony Rook of Asylum Chess [...and similar Bishop-Vao compounds and Queen / Leo compounds.

Airplanes and maybe even Kangaroos too might work well in this game with many, densely packed pieces. ]
