In Charles Gilman's 10x8 variant Great Herd, the (Knight+Zebra) piece is called a 'Gazelle'. A Piececlopedia entry for this piece would be helpful - it can probably be found in other chess variants under a variety of names.

In Mark Hedden's 16x16 variant Io Chess, the 'Moonrider' moves either as a Nightrider or a (3,2) jumper.
