Experimental.[All Comments] [Add Comment or Rating]Gary, the CXR method works on a game-by-game basis, and it generally assumes that players won't be playing other players more than 400 points apart. GCR works on an opponent-by-opponent basis, and since it freshly calculates all ratings in a non-chronological order, it cannot make the assumption that players will usually be less than 400 points apart.
