Carlos, The answer is the first option you described - i.e you cannot just undo the last move your opponent made (so the result would be like neither of you had moved at all). Yes, you can move the same ship as your opponent has just moved, but only if you move it to any position other than the one it has just moved from. Thanks for your continuing interest in the game.
