Hepta

This is a rules file for Zillions of Games, a Windows program that will let you play any puzzle or strategy board game you can feed it the rules to. With Zillions-of-Games installed, this rules file will let you play this game against your computer.

Black can arrange Souls in the Heptagram by dragging the Soul on the board to the Heptagram (It'll duplicate).
Because Black has the first action (arranging the Heptagram), the human player is by default Black.
Move and capture pieces as normal.
Move a Soul with Soul Masters as if it's your own piece.
Drag a promoting Knight to a Soul on the board to capture it or to your Receive Pillar to dematerialize.
To steal a Soul with a promoting King, move it from the opposing Temple to your Receive Pillar. Your King will automatically be moved to the right position.
Drag a promoting King to the Heptagram to change color. It'll automatically be placed on the right destination.
Drag a Soul Master to the Heptagram to become a King.
Drag a promoting Soul Master to the backwardmost empty hex on the file.
Click on an empty main board position to anounce Soul Master recovery.
Move and capture a berserking King as normal. No difference between a berserking King and a non-berserking King is visible. It is one piece definition. You can see that a King is berserking through the color's Soul's absence in the Heptagram.
Organized moves (during a Heptagram move, color recovery or Soul Master recovery) are done as if it were normal moves. The move list counts as if nothing special happened. The rules enforce that you do such a special move when it has to be done.
It shouldn't be possible that a "Which one of the following moves do you want to make" pop-up appears.
The game can be played with or without "Smart moves".
