A collection of PDF files that can be used to create traditional, "western" and other styles shogi boards and tokens. The PDF files are freely distributable, so anyone can place them on their website or pass them around to friends for free. This is a great cheap way to get started with shogi. Paper, a printer, scissors and glue/tape are all you need to be ready to play shogi in minutes.

I have moved my paper shogi boards to my new website, japanesechess.org.
