Crossroads

The game requires a 9 x 9 board.
Using the figures on the base lines as a starting point, new figures are formed at the crossing points of the diagonals.
The crossing of the diagonals of queen and knight leads to the Amazon, that of king and bishop to the Dragon Horse, bishop and rook to the Chancellor and so on. Details later.
Setup
Pieces
Standard pieces with standard move options - and a few more figures. Details in the rule section.
Rules
Except for the following changes, the Fide rules apply.
There is no capturing en passant, castling and promotion of pawns takes place.
Bare king loses. Stalemate is a win.

The pieces move as in standard chess. The game also includes the figures: Amazon, Dragon Horse, Dragon King and Chancellor.
Ranks 1 and 9
There is no morphing on ranks 1 and 9.
Rank 2 and 8
On ranks 2 and 8 there are only pawns or pieces are morphed into pawns to enable pawn promotion.
Ranks 3 to 7
New figures are formed from the diagonals resulting from the figures on the base line. New functions result from the basic figures at the crossing points..

The Amazon's movement option is a hybrid figure of queen and knight.
The Chancellor's movement option is a hybrid figure of rook and knight.
The Dragon horse's movement option is a hybrid figure of bishop and wazir.
The Dragon king's movement option is a hybrid figure of rook and ferz.
The kinginv can jump to an adjoining field.
