i love the bowman piece, and the dragon, it is like a squirrel plus.
they go well with the bishop rook and queen.
the pawns are interesting too, nice game on a 10x10.

Mad Queen. It also has the ability to leap to any second cell, making it

I would like to rename this piece to reflect this increase in power. Is
there a previous piece which has this particular move pattern?

If not, I am open to suggestions for a new name.

so it moves like queen and 'squirrel', it is a super powerful piece then,
probably needs a strong name. I like 'DancingQueen' though, other names i
dunno 'SquirrelQueen', 'SuperQueen' (probably been done a bit), 'WarQueen',
now that sounds big, i like it .. 2 more 'JumpingQueen' ..
'LeaperQueen'.

David Moeser's Double King Chess has a Rook + Squirrel piece called a Squirk. By analogy, a Queen + Squirrel should be Squireen, or maybe a Squeek. But either would be silly.

The ArchDeacon has the combined movement of the bishop and the dabbabah, so it is identical to the Bede (or BD) in Ralph Betza's 'Colorbound Clobberers' army. In my [2005-02-25] comment to Peter Aronson's 'White Elephant Chess' I proposed the name Mastodon for the combination of a Rook and a Bede. Just a thought: we could call the Tower a Raffle, as Ralph already uses Waffle for a piece moving like a Wazir or an Alfil.

talking about alfil-wazir, i recently noticed Maka-Dai-Dai Shogi has this
piece, it is called a 'Phoenix'. It has the dabbaba-fers too, called
'Kylin'. This must be the first time these pieces were used yes?
