It looks like that missing colon was the problem. That was my fault
@H.G.Muller
Yeah, I couldn't think of an easier way to do it. It would make sense to have that supported more directly; especially since the interactive diagram can do that already.

The generated GAME code doesn't work properly with moves that involve unloadng pieces. The last unloading step is never applied and the piece ends up removed.
Also, it doesn't recognize the use of 'o' to detect board edges. Might these be supported eventually?
I was trying pieces that would need to end their move just before or after a friendly piece, such as (dauf)F, for example. It's able to pass through friendly pieces, but the last passed through piece is never unloaded. Something like yaodfaubQ also fails to unload. Maybe these are too obscure to bother with.

Perhaps he was just using the list of all games, where it's not clear at all which version is the right one.

A tournament would still be nice, wouldn't it?

I like it! It's always interesting to see the thought behind the choices made when designing a game.

It seems like the Rules URL is broken for every game. The / at the beginning is removed. I tried fixing it for one of my games and nothing changed.
Yangsi, Xiangqi, Glinski's, Gross Chess…
Everything I try doesn't work.
Are there any games that use pieces that slide in a straight line but always hop over the first square? I know there's the picket, but that doesn't jump.
Where does the ski- name come from then?
Thank you! It looks like ski-whatever is the only name anyone's used for these pieces.
I think it just highlights the move as legal but doesn't let you actually do it.

The preset under Official Glinski Coordinates, Medium Size Pieces is not rendering properly. You can see the problem in this game
Thank you!

These presets are all broken. They each have a 'conserve' command in the post move 1 section.

The other preset seems to have a problem also. In this game the hexagon alignment switched from vertical to horizontal after the first move and won't go back.

The rules are clear to me. The Pieces section is slightly awkward to read since the promoted forms sometimes show up before the unpromoted pieces and they aren't arranged in any obvious pattern.

The suggested changes to the summoning rule seem overly complicated to me. I would suggest instead making the summoned pieces switch sides when captured, like shogi pieces. Then the players would want to be careful about losing the demon, since that would allow the opponent to summon it later. If you want losing a summoner to be more consequential, a captured demon could only switch sides if the capturing player still has the right piece to summon it back.
I find nightriders difficult to visualize, even with the three-colored board, but despite that they seem to work well in the grand apothecary games since there are enough pawns and weaker pieces to block them.

The piece images are not showing up on the diagram for this game
I'm wondering if there's an easy way to balance a variant where each side would have a random selection of pieces (excluding pawns and Kings). The best I can think of is making ALL pieces contagious, like the werewolf in Werewolf Chess. Maybe pawns shouldn't be contagious. Does this seem like it might work?

In this game which uses generated game code, it seems like there's a problem with detecting checkmate. If I try playing T f5-d8, it's only check, even though black has no legal moves.

There was another problem with the same game. I know it's not related to the piece image thing because I just tried it again and it still doesn't work.
