Standard chess board is used.

Bishops are replaced by 2 Archbishops and the Knights by 2 Chancellors. 

Pieces

Archbishops can move either as a Bishop or a Knight.

Chancellors can move either as a Rook or a Knight.

Pawns may promote to a Queen, Chancellor, Archbishop, or Rook.

Rules

Standard chess rules are used, except for the above.

Notes

5 strong pieces causing a lot of tactics and headaches for players.

Equipment

Standard chess equipment may be used, Bishops for Archbishops and Knights for Chancellors.
