Cube Chess

Cube Chess is a 3-D rotating magnetic chess variant where the orthodox board is divided into four (4×4) and placed on four continuous sides of a cube(4×16). This creates an infinite loop where pieces can move around the whole board in one move. Pieces are the same and move the same as orthodox chess which are divided in half as King's and Queen's halves and each set is placed back to back on opposite sides of the cube. Half of each set of pawns have contrasting head color to distinguish them from the other half and to keep pawns within halves of the board between players. Pawns cannot move beyond the opposition's first rows.
